For his entire life, Michael has been in, on, near, and around water.

Michael first became aware of the significance of water — and, more importantly, water quality – as a youngster. Growing up near the Hudson River, he was (and still is) an avid fisherman. So he always appreciated that the creek in his neighborhood was teeming with trout. That creek eventually emptied into the big river. The fish in the creek were good eating. The fish in the river were not.

Michael started working with water treatment and distribution in the 80’s while working on Nantucket Island doing irrigation. Some of his customers couldn’t understand why their pristine white picket fences were turning red. His career as a water-quality educator was just beginning.

After earning his credentials as a professional plumber on Nantucket, he further developed his knowledge and skills while raising a family in Arizona. That’s where water quality really hit home. The jaw-dropping landscape is easy on the eyes but hard on the water. The local solution to the bad water is to turn it into YMCA swimming pool water: Chlorine. And lots of it. Michael knew there were better solutions and he found them.

For the past three decades Michael has labored to provide his clients with crisp, clear, clean, safe water. The result is that every pipe, every fixture, every appliance, and everybody in every home and business has enjoyed the important benefits of great tasting water. This is a job he was born to do.
